Description
The SiForce Big Brother is an audio surveillance system designed for law enforcement use in interview rooms, jail lockups, and polygraph rooms. Record up to 8 mono channels, 4 stereo channels, or a mix of both.
What it does
Records high quality, low noise sound, at 16bit, 22,050 Hz sample rate, stereo audio 24/7 for up to a year, at your local or remote site. Records up to 8 mono channels, 4 stereo channels or a mix of both. In addition, it allows restricted access to the recorded audio over your agency's local computer network. Easy to use application allows investigators to copy (via Drag & Drop) one-hour blocks of recorded audio from this remote system to their computer desktop. The recordings can then be reviewed and archived.
How it works
This Windows-based computer runs on our MP3 audio encoder program. The program records the audio into one-hour MP3 files. These hour-long files are time-stamped and cataloged for easy referencing and transporting over the network. The audio signal is picked up by “Knowles” hearing aid microphones and amplified by low noise, high-quality Preamp. The audio is digitized by a low noise soundcard and then fed to the system's hard drive. This system has been in use by law enforcement agencies since 2005 with great success.
