OpenText™ Forensic Imager TX2 (TX2+) (TX2+W)
NOW AVAILABLE FOR PRE-ORDER!
Successor to the TX1, the new Forensic TX2 Imager optimizes the digital forensic investigative process through the use of cutting-edge technology and time-saving triage and acquisition features.
Description
AVAILABLE FOR PRE-ORDER! The TX2 is designed to be a powerful and versatile forensic imaging solution that builds upon the strengths of the TX1 while introducing significant performance improvements. Its primary purpose is to accelerate and streamline the acquisition, analysis, and validation of digital evidence, providing investigators with a faster and more reliable tool for their forensic workflows.
As the successor to the TX1, the new Forensic TX2 Imager optimizes the digital forensic investigative process through use of cutting-edge technology and time-saving triage and acquisition features. With PCIe Gen3 x4 ports and an Intel Xeon-D server class processor, the TX2 offers a 4x speed improvement in raw data bandwidth.
Goals and Objectives:
- Efficiency: Reduce the time required for data acquisition and verification, allowing for quicker decision-making in investigations.
- Adaptability: Support a wider range of devices and connection standards, ensuring compatibility with modern and legacy technology.
- Data Integrity: Maintain rigorous data integrity through advanced hashing methods and concurrent verification.
- Security: Incorporate advanced authentication measures, like multi-factor authentication, to protect sensitive evidence.
- User Experience: Simplify operations through an enhanced user interface, facilitating faster and more effective forensic triage.
Features:
- Parallel Hash Verification and Tree Hashing: These innovative techniques significantly reduce imaging time, making it up to 3.8x faster than the TX1.
- Concurrent Verification: Ability to perform multiple imaging jobs without a loss in performance, increasing productivity.
- Expanded Connectivity: Supports PCIe Gen3, USB-C 3.2 Gen2, and dual 10 GbE RJ45 ports, allowing for faster and more diverse data acquisition.
- Multi-Factor Authentication: Utilizes YubiKey, enhancing the security of sensitive forensic data across the network.
- Lifetime Free Firmware Updates: Ensures ongoing access to the latest advancements, keeping the device updated against emerging challenges.
- Expansive Compatibility: The TX2 supports legacy connections (SAS, FireWire, IDE) via adapters, while also accommodating future standards.
- Scalability: The ability to handle multiple imaging jobs concurrently ensures the TX2 can scale with increasing caseloads.
