Proton® PDS-100 Hard Drive Destroyer

NSA approved motor and manual hard drive destroyer. The PDS-100 provides motor-driven, hard drive destruction to NSA approval requirements. Designed to handle military, commercial, and enterprise data center use, it comes with an upgraded 18-month factory warranty and a lifetime warranty on the blade/bender. The destruction cycle automatically starts when the door is closed for easy operation. It also has the unique ability to operate manually if electricity is interrupted or unavailable; no stoppage or setup is necessary. The PDS-100 also has an optional rear output slide for less operator handling and increased throughput.

NOTE: To comply with recognized standards, including NSA/DoD requirements, a degausser must be used prior to destroying hard drives. In a typical national security operation, a destroyer is used in conjunction with a NSA-approved degausser. Using a degausser is the only way to guarantee all data on hard drives and other magnetic media is permanently unrecoverable.
