The unit is extremely fast and secure, built with the latest hardware technology to achieve the most efficient drive erases, performing at a very high speed, with the ability to erase multiple drives independently at the same time. The unit supports many erase protocols and different digital storage devices such as SAS/SATA, USB3.0, and one NVMe (optional devices include SCSI, 1394, FC,). The user can erase 8 SAS/SATA hard disk drives or SSD, and 10 USB3.0/3.1 storage devices and one NVMe at the same time. It is one of the best and most economic products in the market, does not use licensing scheme.

The SuperWiper^® Desktop Pro 8 SAS/SATA Gen-3 + one NVMe unit is a standalone multiple ports drive eraser units enabling the user to erase multiple drives simultaneously and independently very fast and in a very efficient way. The unit is industrial and durably built, using a desktop-style and does not require per drive erase licensing. The product built-in with 8 SAS/SATA ports, 8 USB3.2 ports, one e-SATA port and include one U.2/M.2 NVMe port. The product supports erase from hard disk drives, SSD, and USB Flash drives. Also it supports erase data from un-opened laptops (Intel base) that are connected remotly to the SuperWiper unit and print the NIST certificate.
The SuperWiper’s erase application is easy to use designed with touchscreen icons and it supports many data erase protocols, such as:

DoD 5220-22M (ECE) erase specification (with 7 writing passes and one verification pass).
DoD Lite 5220-22M (E) erase specification (with 3 writing passes and one verification pass).
Security Erase
Enhanced Security Erase
Sanitize (3 types to be used with SAS SSD).
“User” Defined Erase Settings
NVMe-Format & NVMe Secure Erase (for NVMe SSD).
The user can view all the drive-erase running sessions and their status on the screen.

The drive erase log report per drive contains all the information on the erase unit hardware and software, the drive information, and the erase mode. It also includes the health test status of the drive.
In addition, customs fields, like a job number, can apply to the NIST certificate.

The drive erase log report per drive, including the log database, can easily be exported to a USB stick.

Additional operations: Data Erase Verification, Full or Quick Format, HASH a drive as erase authentication, and Drive Diagnostics. The SuperWiper application supports erase data from of multiple drives in multiple sessions in simultaneous erase runs with no limitations on the number of sessions.

Ability to erase Erase and format SED drives, include SAS Enterprise SED SSD.

Also, the S.M.A.R.T. Diagnostics application for SATA drives (or SCSI commands for SAS drives) allows the user to "weed out" very quickly "bad" drives based on their existing S.M.A.R.T. attributes, or while running the S.M.A.R.T. diagnostics and updating their attributes.
