The device mounts to the back of your EIDE, IDE, ATAPI, ATA/33, ATA366, Ultra ATA/100, Ultra ATA/133 device converting SATA command through Serial ATA interface from the interface host (On Board/ Add-on Serial ATA controller), decoding SATA command and converting them to Parallel ATA command. Responses from the device are deciphered, proceed and convert back to SATA protocol and send it to the host.
